Known to many as one of the Western Suburbs premier events, Glendale Heights Fest will be held this year on Wednesday, July 10th through Sunday, July 145th at Camera Park, 101 E. Fullerton in Glendale Heights. Enjoy the North American Midway Entertainment carnival and rides, along with exciting entertainment and fantastic food booths. Enjoy a breathtaking display of fireworks at dusk on July 10th and July 14th. Plan to spend a fun-filled week in town at Glendale Heights Fest with delicious food and entertainment for the entire family.

State Curfew for anyone under 17 years of age is 11:00 pm on Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday and Midnight on Friday and Saturday. Anyone under the age of 17 at the Glendale Heights Fest after Curfew must be with a parent or guardian or will be in violation of curfew. The Curfew laws will be enforced by the Glendale Heights Police Department.

Carnival Wristband Days

Unlimited carnival rides for wristband wearers on the following festival days ONLY:

Wednesday, Thursday, & Friday: 6:00 pm – 11:00 pm
Saturday: 11:00 am – 5:00 pm
Sunday: 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm

Wristbands sold at Glendale Heights Fest Ticket Booths are $22.

Resident Appreciation Day is Thursday. Buy your wristbands at Fest Ticket Booths for $15. (No pre-sale wristbands for this day)

Pre-sale wristbands for Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday are available for a discounted price of $18 starting June 25th – July 10th at Village Hall,
the Senior Center, and the Recreation Department registration counter.

No refunds allowed for wristband sales.

Glendale Heights Idol

Individuals, duos, or group singers are wanted for the 3rd annual Glendale Heights Idol Competition (open to all ages). Applications must be submitted to the Village of Glendale Heights on or before 4:30 pm, Friday, June 29th. Please be sure that your contact information is included with your entry. No entries will be accepted after this date. Performances must be family appropriate and should be no longer than 3 minutes. The song submitted on the application will be your competition song. No substitutions will be allowed. Depending on the number of applications submitted, auditions may be scheduled. If music is needed, you must supply your own CD. Finalists will be notified on or before July 6th. Click here to download an application.

"Ride the Bull" at the
Glendale Heights Fest

Country Night, Friday, July 13, 6:00 pm – 11:30 pm
Volunteers from the food pantry at Family In Faith Christian Church will be donating their time to run the mechanical bull ticket booth. 100% of the proceeds will be used for the food pantry building fund. They provided more than 800,000 pounds of food to needy families in this area for the last eight years.

11th Annual International Day
Now Part of Glendale Heights Fest!

All residents are invited to celebrate our different heritages and enjoy the cultural entertainment at International Day on July 15 at 12:00 pm. Adults and children who would like to bring/wear their native dress are welcome to participate in the cultural fashion show. This is a great event packed full of family fun!
